Biographical Record

Subutai (c. 1175–1248 CE), of the Uriankhai forest clan, pioneered the coordination of separate armies operating hundreds of miles apart through horse-courier communications and strict timetable synchronization. He orchestrated the destruction of the Jin and Khwarazmian empires.

During the Mongol invasion of Europe (1241 CE), he simultaneously crushed the European chivalry of Poland at Legnica and the Kingdom of Hungary at the Battle of Mohi on consecutive days, demonstrating an operational reach unmatched until the twentieth century.
