Biographical Record

Sant Dnyaneshwar (1275–1296 CE) and his three siblings endured severe social ostracism before their sublime spiritual realization won over the orthodoxy of Paithan.

At age fifteen, he recited the Dnyaneshwari (Bhavartha Dipika), translating the complex philosophy of the Gita into lyrical Marathi for ordinary farmers; at twenty-one, having fulfilled his mission, he entered eternal Sanjivan Samadhi.
