Biographical Record
Drawn from the waters of the Nile by Pharaoh's daughter and raised in the royal palace, Moses fled into the desert of Midian where God spoke to him from the Burning Bush at Mount Horeb. Armed only with his shepherd's staff and divine miracles, he returned to demand the liberation of his oppressed people.
Guiding the multitude through the parted Red Sea, Moses spent forty years wandering the Sinai wilderness, transmitting the Torah and legal jurisprudence that formed the moral bedrock of Abrahamic civilization before viewing the Promised Land from the summit of Mount Nebo.
