Biographical Record

Moses Cordovero (1522–1570 CE) was the brother-in-law of Solomon Alkabetz and leader of the Safed kabbalistic academy prior to Isaac Luria.

His masterwork Pardes Rimonim organized all prior kabbalistic teachings into a coherent philosophical framework, while Tomer Devorah taught spiritual imitation of the thirteen divine attributes of mercy.
