Leslie Allen Jordan

Leslie Allen Jordan was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, the son of a United States Army major who died in a plane crash when Jordan was eleven. Standing just 4 feet 11 inches with an unmistakable Southern drawl, he arrived in Los Angeles in 1982 with $1,200 sewn into his clothes, becoming a tireless volunteer during the AIDS epidemic and building a prolific career in theater and television.

Jordan won a Primetime Emmy Award in 2006 for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for his recurring role as wealthy, sassy arch-rival Beverly Leslie on NBC's Will & Grace. He starred in Del Shores's cult comedy Sordid Lives, Ryan Murphy's American Horror Story, and Fox sitcom Call Me Kat. In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns, his hilarious, warm daily Instagram videos skyrocketed him from 80,000 to nearly six million followers, releasing a gospel album Company's Comin' in 2021.
