Henry Louis 'Hank' Aaron (1934–2021), known as Hammerin' Hank, was one of the most prolific and dignified champions in the history of sports. Playing 23 seasons for the Milwaukee/Atlanta Braves and Milwaukee Brewers, Aaron still holds MLB records for RBI (2,297), extra-base hits (1,477), and total bases (6,856).

On April 8, 1974, despite enduring vile racial abuse and death threats as he approached the milestone, Aaron hit his 715th career home run to break Babe Ruth's hallowed record, finishing his career with 755 home runs.
