Biographical Record

Carlos Reutemann (1942–2021) took pole position in his F1 debut at the 1972 Argentine Grand Prix before winning four races for Bernie Ecclestone's Brabham team. Joining Scuderia Ferrari in 1977 alongside Niki Lauda, he scored iconic victories at Monaco, Watkins Glen, and Brands Hatch.

In 1981, driving for Williams, Reutemann led the World Championship until the final race at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, missing the title by a single point. Transitioning into Argentine politics, he was twice elected Governor of Santa Fe and served as National Senator for over two decades.
