Biographical Record
Abdelhafid Boussouf ('Si Mabrouk') was a leading cadre of the PPA-MTLD in Skikda and Constantine. Following the Soummam Congress in 1956, he took command of Wilaya V (Oranie), establishing unprecedented military discipline and communications networks.
As Minister of General Liaisons and Communications in the GPRA, Boussouf created the legendary MALG (Ministère de l'Armement et des Liaisons Générales). He established secret arms factories in Morocco, encrypted telecommunication grids across the front lines, and cultivated intelligence networks that outmaneuvered French counter-espionage.
